Day 2.

Visit the amazing city of Budapest, discover both sides of the Danube, Pest and Buda, spend some time in the magnificent Opera House and enjoy the breath-taking view over the city from the Buda Castle.

Sightseeing tour on Pest side by bus.
You will see the House of Parliament (outside), visit the City Park, Heroes Square, Andrássy Avenue. Visit of the St. Stephen Basilica. During the morning we will visit the Opera House, built in 1884 in Neo-Renaissance style.

Light lunch in one of the most beautiful cafes in the world, the New York Café.
Activity
After lunch, we continue our sightseeing with the Buda side of the city. During our walking tour we will explore the Buda Castle district including the Fishermen’s Bastion and the lovely Mathias Church during our walking tour. You will stroll along the streets, listed among the UNESCO world heritage sites, and admire the buildings of the Buda Castle, the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings and get a breath-taking panorama of the Danube with the Chain Bridge and the Pest side of the city.

Evening cruise with dinner and folklore show on the Danube.

Day 3.
April 26, 2023, Wednesday
Danube-bend and Neszmély Wine Region
Culture and wine. Day tour along the “Blue Danube” to Hungary’s history, with stops in Esztergom, Neszmély and Tata.

Lunch will be served on the top of the hill overlooking to the Danube with one of the most prestigious cellars of Hungary.
Activity
Our first stop will be in Esztergom, the centre of the Hungarian Catholic Church. You will enjoy the view to the Danube River from the Cathedral Hill after or before visiting the largest Cathedral of Hungary.
Travel further to Neszmély wine Region. The most prestigious winery of the region is in amazing ambience, in the middle of the vineyards, on a top of a hill, with amazing view over the Danube. Winery visit, tasting.

Lunch in the winery.
Activity
Travelling further, you will visit to a small-scale producer, learn about the local grape varieties and traditional wine making and taste local wines.
Travel back to Budapest.
Free time for dinner.

Enjoy another amazing day in Budapest and the nearby village of Etyek. Key experiences of the day include a tasting experience in the Törley sparkling wine cellars, with sparkling wine tasting and a visit of a small-scale ham producer in Etyek and a wine-paired-dinner with the famous Tokaji wines.

Return to Budapest. You will have some time for yourselves in the afternoon.

You say good-by to Budapest for another day and head east to visit the beautiful historical town Eger and the Eger wine region.

Activity
You visit two cellars during the day (one before lunch and one after lunch), an old traditional one and a modern wine bar. Besides tasting the wines of the most prestigious local producers you will learn about the wine region.

Activity
Admire the Eger Castle, one of the best-known symbols of patriotic persistence in Hungary and the Minaret, the northernmost historical building of the Turkish era in Europe. You will enjoy a walking sightseeing tour in the beautiful historical town of Eger.
Second winery visit and short stopover in a charming “Wine-cellar-valley” on the way back to Budapest.

Budapest and Horse Show

Traditions, history, and food. The key experiences of the day will include the visit of the Great Market Hall and an amazing Horse Show and typical Hungarian lunch in the famous Lázár Equestrian horse farm.

Budapest's largest and most expansive indoor market, built in the neo-Gothic style, offers a variety of food stalls, from fresh vegetables, fowl, and meat to wine and liquor shops. You will taste some local food here, like flatbread, strudel, or cones. Travel to Domonyvölgy to the Lázár Equestrian Park. The Lázár Equestrian Park was founded 2001 by the 21-time world-champion carriage driver Lázár brothers. It is situated 35 kilometers from Budapest in a picturesque valley among the hills of the Gödöllő natural protected area, in a nine-hectare area. We will participate by an amazing horse show.

Transfer back to Budapest, free time.

Cancellation fees:
- 1000 Euro if the contract is abandoned more than 90 days prior to departure but a reservation fee
- 50% of the price if the contract is abandoned on a date following the 90th day but preceding the 45th day prior to departure
- 75% of the price if the contract is abandoned on a date following the 45th day but preceding the 15th day prior to departure
- 100% of the price if the contract is abandoned on a date less than 15 days prior to departure
